POSITION TITLE: Summer Camp Assistant
WAGES AND BENEFITS: $15/hour
SCHEDULE: Seasonal, M-F 8:30-4:00 during camp weeks listed below
JOB SUMMARY
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Summer Camp Assistant to help make our camps a fun, safe, and memorable experience for youth of all ages. As a Summer Camp Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Camp Coordinators to support camp activities, ensure smooth daily operations, and help create a welcoming environment for campers.
Camp Schedule:
K–2nd grade camps
Feather Fun: June 16th-19th
World of Water: July 7th-10th
Montana Mammals: July 28th-31st
3rd–5th grade camps
Feather Fun: June 23rd-26th
World of Water: July 14th-17th
Montana Mammals: August 4th-7th
6th–8th grade camp
Conservation Connection: Conservation through Recreation July 21st-24th
9th–12th grade camp
Conservation, Recreation and Outdoor Life Skills: June 9th-12th
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with setting up and cleaning up daily activities.
Engage with campers during games, crafts, and nature-based learning.
Support coordinators with any tasks needed to ensure smooth camp operations.
Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys working with kids.
Comfortable being outdoors and engaging in active, hands-on learning.
Ability to ride a bike.
Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team.
Must pass a background check prior to employment.
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from TWR.
First aid and CPR Certified (Preferred)
